Videography service
available for I have been asked to serve as
videographer for Actors Alliance Festival 2007 and I'm glad to offer
my services at greatly reduced rates to make this easily affordable
for all participants. Your arrangements for this service are to be
made directly with me.
Note: Shows with Equity actors
cannot and will not be recorded. Full details about my videography
services can be found
elsewhere on this web site. The following is
information that applies specifically to the festival.
The videography will be
single-camera shoot with a professional (Canon XH-A1) video camera
and at least four (Carvin unidirectional professional) microphones
on very low stands around the edge of the stage to pick up good
sound without intruding visually.
The charge for videotaping a
performance is $25.00, with a $50.00 minimum per program applicable.
So if two shows are to be videotaped, the minimum is met. If only
one show is to be videotaped in an evening, that would require a
$50.00 payment.
In addition, DVDs will be available
at $13.00 each, including tax and shipping. As many performances as
possible (up to 2 hours) will be put on a disk, each marked by its
own chapter designation for easy access.
The entire festival taping should
be available on no more than 4 disks, depending on the number of
shows taped. Once the number of total disks is determined, I will
figure a discount price for ordering the full set.
The video of each show will include
title and credits as they appear in the program. If you want
different information on the DVD, be sure to get that to me before
or immediately after taping.
The videos will be recorded in
wide-screen format. DVDs will then be available in both (1)
full wide-screen format (viewable on most newer television sets,
even if they don't have a wide screen); and (2) standard-screen
format with letterbox picture, which will be viewable on any TV set
but especially appropriate for those that do not accommodate the
wide-screen signal (there will be dark areas at the top and bottom
of the screen to make it a wide-screen picture).
The $25.00 taping fee is to be paid
in advance. Orders for DVDs may be placed with initial payment or
later. DVDs are to be paid for when ordered (be sure to include
recipients' names and mail addresses).
Scheduled taping dates are: Finished DVDs should be available
no more than two weeks following taping of the final show.
